Hail drifts on I-70; Record-breaking hail damage in Denver
200

Summary

Big hail day. Intercepted a photogenic supercell that dropped copious amounts of hail on I-70. Another cell blew up west of Denver and dropped huge hail in a long swath across the city, causing $1.4 billion in property damage...Denver's most expensive hailstorm ever. Lost a coil pack on the engine and hobbled home on three cylinders.
